Dolly Parton is a national treasure and now the “Queen of Country” is releasing a new line of sweet treats with Duncan Hines!

Last week Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream announced they were bringing back Dolly’s signature flavor, Strawberry Pretzel Pie, (which sold out in minutes last year) and today Duncan Hines has announced the release of an entire line of “Dolly’s Southern Favorites.”

Duncan is partnering with Dolly to launch Southern-inspired cake mixes and frostings, and some special recipes said to be inspired by some of Dolly’s favorite family recipes.

The Dolly inspired collab will feature two cake mixes, Southern-Style Coconut and Southern-Style Banana, and two frostings, Creamy Buttercream and Chocolate Buttercream.

On Duncan’s website, Dolly said:

“I’ve always loved to cook. Growing up in the South exposed me to that authentic Mom & Pop kind of cooking. Baking was no different. I had plenty of people to show me what’s what in the kitchen… my Mama, my grandmothers and my aunts were all wonderful bakers.

They taught me everything I know, from biscuits and gravy to chocolate cake. Now I am proud to share some of those favorites with all of you.

Starting tomorrow, January 26, at 7am CST, a limited number of Dolly Parton baking kits will be available on the Duncan Hines website for $40. The kits will include both cake mixes and frostings, as well as a letter from Dolly Parton, a tea towel, and a spatula. In March, you will be able to purchase the items from grocery stores individually.
