As often as he can, Justin Moore tries to use his platform to give back and support many different causes. “I’ve always said I think it’s part of our job as artists and as human beings,” says Justin. “The Bible says ‘to whom much is given, much is required,’ and I believe in that. I think it’s important. It’s good for the soul, you know, it’s good to help people.”
Whether it’s St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Cancer Society, Feeding America or a number of other charities Justin has supported, he says, “It makes you feel good, and so we try to do as much of that as possible. We’ve done an event near my hometown, now for five years – and this is a small community; We’ve raised over half a million dollars for the Boys and Girls Club.”
During those years, Justin has learned so much and had his eyes opened to all the good things Boys and Girls Clubs do, and he says, “It’s been really rewarding for my wife and I to be pretty involved in that.”
And Justin plans to make giving back on his own and with his family a priority for the rest of his career and the rest of his life.
