Two women have accused Chris Noth of sexual assault. He is denying the allegations.
The women say the incidents occurred in 2004 and 2015. Both women say they were triggered to come forward and tell their story after seeing him reprise his role as Mr. Big in And Just Like That, the Sex and the City reprisal on HBO Max.
The two women, named Zoe and Lily in the press, are keeping their real names private.
In a statement just released by Chris, he is denying the allegations.
“The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false,” Noth said. “These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”
In light of the allegations, Peloton has scrapped its ad featuring Chris which appeared three days after the premiere of And Just Like That, so the add has been put on the shelf.
