Christmas is next week and country music singer-songwriter Jordan Davis shares what his two-year-old daughter is like with presents.
Those of us who are parents can attest to how amazing it is to watch your child grow and begin to grasp the world around them. Presents are something that most children at least have fun opening when they have the ability to do so.
We can only deduce that Jordan’s description of how Eloise handles presents comes from past Christmas and birthday presents. She just turned two last month.
“You know, with everyone, it just gets better. You know, last year Eloise had no clue what was going on. This year she’s just really good at, she just wants to rip the paper off of it. If it’s a bubble guppy or paw patrol she’s all about it, but if it’s anything other than that. It’s on to the next thing that’s wrapped in paper for her to rip up. It’s pretty fun to just sit there and watch her just destroy every present under the tree.”
Jordan Davis has a present of sorts on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. His song “Buy Dirt” featuring Luke Bryan is at number six on the chart this week and climbing. Listen for the song on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
How old were your kids when they really began to enjoy opening presents?
