Thanksgiving is this Thursday (11/25) and recently crowned CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Carly Pearce says she has many things to be thankful for this year.
“I’m thankful for my dog June Jolene Pearce. She’s made it through another year, I’m proud of her, she’s almost two. I’m thankful to be back out on the road and thankful to be back on stage. Thankful to have another year that this is my life. And honestly this year has blown my mind in so many different ways just with where my career is because of country fans.”
Just some of the things that Carly has experienced this year are: winning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year for the first time (as mentioned earlier); singing the National Anthem at game six of the World Series; being inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry; releasing her third studio album, 29: Written In Stone; won ACM Single of the Year for her song “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Lee Brice.
Carly’s latest single is a collaboration with Ashley McBryde titled “Never Wanted to Be That Girl.” Carly and Ashley even teamed up to write the song along with Shane McAnally. Listen for the song on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
Do you think Carly Pearce will have an even bigger year in 2022?
