Kenny Chesney’s latest single “Knowing You” is climbing the charts in the Top 10 this week. Kenny Chesney says he got “very emotional” when he first heard the song.

“It’s about a chapter in someone’s life, where they were with someone. And that chapter was so full of love and new experiences, positive energy and … It was a chapter where they both felt truly really alive in their life. And for whatever reason, life moved each person in a different direction. But, still with that happening, there’s still this feeling of love and gratitude that that person was in your life in the first place. And I have a couple of those people in my life. You know, because of that, this song really killed me when I heard it. I mean it really … It was very emotional when I heard it, because I, like I said, I have a couple people in my life that this song really resonates with.”
