How tragic!

Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed one person and left another seriously injured on the set of the movie “Rust” which is currently being filmed in New Mexico.

The films director of photography, Halyna Hutchins, 42, was killed, and director Joel Souza, 48, was injured and in critical condition.

Alex is not only starring in the film, but is also a producer, and discharged the prop firearm, believed to be holding blanks. No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing. Exactly how the incident unfolded is unclear.

Investigators say they’re working to determine “how and what type of projectile was discharged” from the gun.
