Last night (10/18) was the third night of the Battle Rounds on season 21 of The Voice. What decisions did Blake Shelton make for Team Blake?
Blake’s first pairing of the night was with 17-year-old Carson Peters and 25-year-old Clint Sherman. Blake gave the two artists the song “Don’t Let Our Love Start Slippin’ Away” by Vince Gill. I felt like both did a pretty equal job performing the song. I could see reasons for Blake to choose either one of them.
Blake ended up keeping Carson on Team Blake moving forward sending Clint home.
Next Blake paired Manny Keith (31-years-old) with Wendy Moten (56-years-old). He gave the two singers Sting’s “If I Ever Lose My Faith in You” to perform. Both artists did very well. However, as we saw in the Blind Auditions, Wendy has something special about her abilities.
Blake chose to keep Wendy on Team Blake. This was not the end of the line for Manny as Ariana Grande used her steal to bring him to Team Ariana.

The final Battle Round performances will take place tonight on The Voice Season 21 starting at 7 p.m. central time (8 p.m. eastern time) on NBC.
