Last night (10/5) was the final night of Blind Auditions on season 21 of The Voice. We also found out who will the mega mentor during the Knockout Rounds.
Blake Shelton started the night needing just one artist to bring Team Blake to 12 artists and be full.
27-year-old Tommy Edwards performed a unique version of “Drops of Jupiter” by Train. Blake liked what he heard and pressed his button. A little while later John Legend also pressed his button. Blake made a very passionate pith for Tommy to pick him. John was less enthusiastic in his speech.
I feel like the enthusiasm from Blake likely won Tommy over as he chose to join Team Blake and complete Blake Shelton’s team.
All the coaches ended the night with a full team of 12 artists. See which artists are on which teams at the official website of The Voice here.
Next week the Battle Rounds begin. The mentors for this round were announced earlier this year. They are: Dierks Bentley for Team Blake, Jason Aldean for Team Kelly, Camila Cabello for Team Legend and Kristin Chenoweth for Team Ariana.
The mega mentor for the Knockout Rounds was revealed last night via social media…
Ed Sheeran will help all of the teams during the Knockout Rounds on season 21 of The Voice.
