Elvie Shane is watching his song “My Boy” climb the charts. He is also watching his kids grow at very different stages of life.

Elvie has a son that is in high school. He and his wife also welcomed a daughter into the world earlier this year. The country singer/songwriter explains what it’s like with two kids so far apart in age.

“Man, one in high school, one in diapers, so definitely a lot of differences there. I’m seeing both of them grow rapidly though … You know my boy has been cooped up in the house for the last year-and-a-half and he’s in high school now … And goes back to school after everything that’s been going on and goes straight to high school. I’m really starting to see him blossom and turn into a young man it’s really exciting to watch. My little girl, she’s a different human every time I see her ‘cuz I’m gone for a week at time … And I get to see her for a couple days and she’s doing something new every time.”
