There’s nothing like helping your team celebrate a big win, and Luke Combs got to do that from the locker room as the team sang one of his songs at the top of their lungs!
Luke has had a great week, nominated for multiple 2021 CMA Awards, including the night’s biggest honor, Entertainer of the Year, along with Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year, for “Forever After All.”
But what do you think was a greater moment in Luke’s career…multiple CMA nominations, or celebrating a huge win with your alma matter, App State, pumped up in the locker room with the guys, and singing “Beer Never Broke My Heart” at the top of your lungs, while being held up on the shoulders of two of the biggest dudes on the App State football team?

Two days after the game, Luke played a SOLD OUT show at the same stadium where he taught himself to play guitar 10 years ago.
This show was a long time in the making for me. I attended college at @appstate. I taught myself to play guitar 10 years ago in Boone, NC. I wrote the first song that I ever wrote here. And on September 4, 2021, I played my first stadium show in that same town. pic.twitter.com/WLbLj89QGn
