Thomas Rhett’s career is on fire these days, but that hasn’t stopped him from thinking about life after music, or maybe a hobby to dabble in on the side of music. If music hadn’t become his career, TR says, “I would probably have started a real estate company.”
However, Thomas says the idea of getting into real estate is not a thing of the past at this point. “I honestly thought about gettin’ my real estate license this year,” he confesses. “I’m not kidding. I mean, I had the time to do it and I’ve got a bunch of buddies that do it now. And I love the whole art of goin’ in and getting somebody to really love a home enough to buy it.”
While we predict Thomas has a long career ahead of him in country music, real estate could be a fun side hustle once he scales back on touring, and he says, “Maybe in about 15 years that’s what I’ll do.”
In the meantime, Thomas will just keep making hit songs like his current single “Country Again.” Listen for the song on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
