Luke Bryan has added to his list of #1 songs this week as “Waves” tops the charts.

The advanced release of both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts for country radio airplay show Luke in the number one spot.

“Waves” gives Luke a total of 27 #1 singles in his career. It can be found on the deluxe version of his current album Born Here Live Here Die Here.

Luke shared that he loved the song the first time he heard it, “‘Waves’ is a song about kids falling in love during the summer and just all the images and everything about just how beautiful that summer love is and how the emotions just keep coming in waves. ‘Waves’ is kind of a play on words, and I fell in love with the song the second I heard it.”
