Music is pretty powerful. It has the power to make you smile, cry, laugh, dance, get excited and so much more. In the case of Luke Combs, it kept him from being homeless.

Luke is one of the hottest acts in country music right now. The singer-songwriter shares the importance of making music to him.

“People always ask me ‘What would you be doing if you weren’t doing music’ and I honestly think that that I would be homeless if I wasn’t doing it because that’s just … it’s the one thing that that luckily I’m good at and I knew that I had to that had to chase it with everything I had.”

Luke’s first 11 singles have reached the #1 spot on the country charts. He is hoping his next sing “Cold As You” will make it an even dozen. Luke will release the official music video for that new single tonight at 7 PM ET/ 6 PM CT. In the meantime, you can listen to the song’s audio above.
