Kenny Chesney knew what he wanted to do in life after he saw a very simple act from a country music legend.

Kenny shares that seeing Conway Twitty in concert with his mom at a very young age set him on the path his life has followed.

“I watched Conway Twitty walk out with a hot pink shirt on and blue polyester pants with no music. Like when we come on stage now, there’s just (makes sound effect) all this stuff. It’s an event, right? Conway walked out to the front of the stage, took the microphone and went, ‘Hello darling,’ and everybody went crazy … And I looked at my momma and I said ‘That’s what I wanna do’.”
