A Texas man just won $1 million from a scratch-off lottery ticket, and he got the ticket for FREE!

We all love a good lottery story, and this one is magical, and almost unbelievable, but TRUE!

Arlington resident Gary Smith says he was visiting his family in Arkansas last week when he decided to go with them to get vaccinated.

As part of the state’s incentive program, he could use his proof of vaccine to get a $20 scratch off lottery ticket, or a $20 gift certificate to the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. He obviously chose wisely.

Gary chose the lottery ticket and could not BELIEVE when he scratched off the “$1 Million Spectacular Ticket” and revealed he had won the $1 Million top prize.

At first, he thought someone was playing a joke on him.

“I know they’re lying,” Smith recalls thinking. “I couldn’t believe it.”

Gary, who recently got engaged, says he plans on using the money to pay for his wedding, pay off bills and help out some of his relatives.

“My grandmother was the first person that I told about my win,” Smith said. “We both were in total shock! She immediately wanted to leave to get her another ticket.”
