Chris Lane penned a special song in honor of his newborn son. “Ain’t Even Met You Yet” was released on Tuesday (June 15) along with a video.

The song details Lane’s hopes and fears about raising a child and his excitement of being a first-time father.

The song also mentions his wife, Lauren, “Sometimes you’ll want to hate me / And just between us two / sometimes momma’s crazy / but we’re just learning as we go,” Chris sings about the former reality show star.

After a week of getting to know “Dutton,” Chris says his new favorite thing is watching Lauren be a mom. The family dogs Cooper and Chloe are already getting used to the new baby in the house, Chris said, “Cooper was a bit confused and missing our attention, but you can tell that he’s already protective over Dutton and keeps checking on him.”
