For many of the artists, it was their first time on stage in over a year. And for some of them, who started a rise to game through the pandemic, they have never heard the lyrics sung back TO THEM from the crowd.

For Jameson Rodgers, he finally got that moment on stage on Friday night before Sam Hunt took the stage!

It was only his second show back after a year of missing the stage due to the shutdown and quarantine. During the past year his song “Some Girls” went #1, and he got visibly emotional on stage when he got to hear the crowd sing the song BACK TO HIM!

Sharing a video of the moment, Jameson says, “Peoria, IL!!!! You about made a grown man cry on stage last night. Been waiting for that moment for a long time. I’ll never forget it.”
