Justin Moore has a favorite line in his latest single ‘We Didn’t Have Much.” It is the line about dogs barking at unfamiliar trucks.
“Probably my favorite line in the song, just because I literally remember this kind of thing happenin’ when I was growing up, is, ‘Dogs barkin’ in the yard at a truck we don’t know.’ Like, how does a dog know that trucks okay, and I ain’t never seen that truck? But they do. You know, they’re part of the family, and it’s just like growing up in a town of 300 people. There’s a person now, when a truck comes through town, you go, who is that? I ain’t never seen that truck, you know. That line always cracks me up and grabs my attention.”
I get what you are saying Justin. I know when the guy that owns the property I archery hunt is getting home. His dogs start barking when they hear his truck long before I can hear it. They don’t bark at any other vehicle that comes through the area.
