Watching his wife, Taylor, become a mom to their daughter, Presley, grew Brett Young’s love for his wife more than he ever thought possible. Brett says witnessing that can never be topped or surpassed.
“She has all these traits anyway, so it’s not like she applied her new strengths and traits that she didn’t have. But she went from being a very selfless person to a completely selfless person. She went from being a patient person to having the most patience in the world.”
The first few months after Presley was born, she primarily needed her mom, which gave Brett a chance to watch them bond, and he says, “The immediate connection that I watched her form with Presley was this extra, almost, gear that she turned on. It was like nothing short of supernatural to kind of stand back and watch. It was incredible.”
In just a couple of months, Brett will get to see his wife take on motherhood for a second time, when their second daughter is born.
