Brett Young’s daughter, Presley, is 17-months-old now, and starting to learn all kinds of things that show a distinct personality.
Brett says, “Mostly she’s learning from Taylor. There’s been this connection with her and Presley since Presley was born. So, I feel like just because of their immediate connection, she’s probably drawing more from her mom. But unfortunately for both of them, I think there’s a little more of my kind of strong-willed personality in there.”
Another behavior Brett says he’s noticed in his daughter is, “She has a thing now where when she wants something she just points at it and grunts. And I’m like, that’s kinda how I treat food. So, I think she got that one from me.”
So while Presley is learning all kinds of new things from her mom, Brett says, “I think genetically she might’ve got a little more of dad, which could suck for everybody. But we’re keepin’ our fingers crossed.”
Congratulations to Brett on his song “Lady,” which he wrote about his wife for Presley, becoming his seventh consecutive #1 song of his career, meaning every song he’s released in his career has reached the top of the charts.
Listen for the #1 song “Lady” by Brett Young on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
