A group of friends was enjoying riding their snowmobiles together in the mountains when the snow gave way.
I don’t live in the mountains. However, I can only imagine that this kind of thing has to always be on the mind of people that do. How do you balance the desire to enjoy the place you live with the chance of an avalanche?
Based on the commentary posted with the video below, these guys knew the dangers and had equipment to help them in the event the worst happened. It did.
Luckily it appears based on the commentary that all of the friends made it safely off the mountain that day.
I have experienced tornadoes where I live including one while I was deer hunting (read that story here).
