Niko Moon sings about apple pie moonshine in his debut single “Good Time.” He is sharing how to use that drink to make a cold weather treat for adults.
The song that is approaching the top 10 on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart features the line “Pass that bottle ’round the campfire, Sippin’ apple pie moonshine” as part of the chorus. In the video above Niko points out how easy it is to forget you are drinking moonshine when it is apple pie moonshine.
He is joined by Rich Birdsong of Sugarlands Distilling Company to share a recipe for making a drink they call a “Good Time Apple Pie Hot Toddy.” It sounds like the perfect warming drink for the colder time of year we are currently experiencing.
When the weather changes we can simply sit around a campfire to keep warm like in the campfire session of the song below. At that time we can just follow the instructions in the song just get to “sippin’ apple pie moonshine” straight from the jar.
Listen for “Good Time” by Niko Moon on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
