Carrie Underwood is still on a high from the release of her Christmas album, My Gift, and the talented singer spoke about Christmas and what she’s looking forward to in 2021.

When asked about tree trimming Underwood prefers classic decorations that have been used year after year, “Growing up, we had the same decorations every year,” says Carrie. “That’s what I want my boys to have. I want them to see their pictures from when they were little or that thing they made in kindergarten hanging on the tree.”

Underwood’s Christmas gifts came early from her husband, “My husband said, ’What would you like for Christmas?’ And I said, ’I would like cows,” said Carrie. Carrie’s son, Isaiah has already named the cows “Brownie” and “Oreo” after their color pattern.

As for 2021 New Year’s Resolutions, Carrie says she definitely makes them and would like to work more next year but she’s not in control of that so, for now, she’ll, “be grateful for what we have.”
