Tonight (12/1) was the live results show for the first Live Playoffs performances on season 19 of The Voice.
Last night (11/30) the Top 17 performed for America’s vote. Tonight the artist on each team with the most votes advanced to next week’s semi-finals. Each coach then got to choose to save one artist to advance to next week.
America voted Ian Flanigan through to next week from Team Blake. Blake then picked Jim Ranger to advance.
After the two artists from each team that automatically advanced and were picked by the coaches were revealed, it was time for an “Wildcard Instant Save.” The top vote getter remaining on each team got to perform for the ninth and final spot in next week’s semi-finals.
Worth the Wait represented Team Blake.
Payge Turner represented Team Gwen.
Tanner Gomes represented Team Kelly.
Bailey Rae represented Team Legend.
Bailey Rae won the Wildcard Instant Save.
That gives John Legend three artists in the Top 9. Blake, Gwen Stefani and Kelly Clarkson all have two artists each in next week’s semi-finals.

Monday, December 7th at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC the Top 9 will perform to try to make the finals on season 19 of The Voice.
