There’s never a good time to get COVID, but as a country artist, you DEFINITELY don’t want to get it before a big awards show.
Both Lee Brice and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line have announced they have tested positive for COVID-19.
Both Tyler and Lee were asymptomatic, meaning they didn’t have any symptoms prior to testing, and truthfully only got tested due to the upcoming awards show on Wednesday night.
With the CMA’s all artists, presenters, performers, nominees, and hosts had to get tested prior to attending the 54th Annual CMA Awards, and for performers, they had to get tested prior to rehearsals.
Neither Lee or Tyler were experiencing any symptoms, so they were both shocked to get the positive results.
On Friday, Tyler posted a photo of his tour bus outside his home with the caption, “Any ideas why I would have my tour bus parked in the drive way?”
And then today he posted, “Some of y’all guessed it…..Got the Rona. Asymptomatic. Quarantining on bus. Miss my family. Writing songs. Thankful.”
Neither of the guys were at rehearsals, so they didn’t come in contact with any other artists.
Get well soon boys! Hope it’s a speedy recovery!
