Justin Moore is an avid hunter, but he’s usually touring during deer hunting season, which means he only gets a chance to schedule one or two hunting trips. However with the pandemic keeping him off the road, Justin says, “This will be the first year that I will get to hunt from the very beginning of deer season through the end of deer season with little to no interruption. Usually I’ve gotta pick a week or two and that’s it.”

Justin is especially excited about being able to experience the full season because he says, “This was the first year the kids really got into huntin’ and Kate really got into huntin’ … I didn’t shoot a deer this year because we had a couple in the freezer and I was trying to get Ella her first deer and Kate her first deer. So, maybe this year since I have plenty of time, I’ll be able to make that happen.”

While Justin would love to be able to tour, he knows (or at least hopes) that having his schedule completely open throughout deer season probably won’t happen again, so he’s thankful to have this time to spend this time with his family doing something they all love.
