Luke Combs recalls the creation timeline of his latest single “Better Together.”
The song is the 10th single released form the country music singer-songwriter. Luke recently shared the progression of how the song came to into existence…
“I wrote ‘Better Together’ in the mountains of North Carolina about three years ago, two and a half years ago maybe … I wrote it with Dan Isbell and Randy Montana, we started it there. I put a little clip of it on my Instagram maybe a year and half or two years ago, I’m not exactly sure. People had always loved it. We ended up recording it and going with, you know, kind of a very stripped-down production of just me and a piano. I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.”
Luke’s first nine singles have reached #1 on the Billboard Country Aircheck singles chart making country music history.
“Better Together” is already at #38 on that 60 song chart in just two weeks. It is quite likely that Luke’s streak of number one hits will continue with this current song.
Listen for “Better Together” on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
“Better Together” can be found on the #1 sophomore album from Luke Combs titled What You See Is What You Get as well as the deluxe version of that album titled What You See Ain’t Always What You Get. The deluxe version of the album is set to drop next Friday, October 23rd.
