America’s favorite serial killer is back! Or should I say…vigilante serial killer!

Dexter is coming back for 10 episodes to Showtime.

Showtime just announced a 10 episode limited series, so that means Michael C. Hall is back as Dexter. Production begins early next year with a tentative fall premiere date.

If you remember in the end, Dexter was planning a fresh start in Miami with Hannah (fellow serial killer) and his son Harrison. The “Brain Surgeon” shot his sister Debra in the head, so while she was on life support he killed the brain surgeon, snatched Deb’s body from the hospital, took her to his boat and dumped her dead body, all while a hurricane destroys his boat and he is presumed dead…

…or so we thought. Instead of Miami, Dexter can be seen as the credits start to role in what appears to be a lumberjack situation, very much alive.

So, could the new 10 episodes have him reuniting with Hannah and his son?

Guess we will have to wait to find out!
