Morgan Wallen will no longer be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend and is speaking out to fans and apologizing.
He spoke to fans Wednesday night to address the news after he was seen partying over the weekend in videos posted on Tik Tok and Twitter, where he wasn’t wearing a face mask or practicing safe distances.
SNL has been very upfront about their strict COVID-19 safety protocols, so after the videos surfaced, the show unfortunately cancelled his appearance for Saturday night.
Morgan shared a heartfelt apology in an emotional video from his hotel room in New York City, where he not only apologized, but said he respected the shows decision, and went on to say he would be stepping back from the spotlight for a bit.
