Country music singer-songwriter Jameson Rodgers is a rising star in Nashville. Here’s a chance for you to get to know a little more about the newcomer.
Jameson was born October 17, 1987. He grew up in Batesville, Mississippi. He loved both baseball and music growing up. Jameson played baseball while he attended Northwest MS Community College. However, he left baseball behind when he completed college at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Jameson moved to Nashville with some friends in 2010. He began chasing his dreams to write and sing songs. Like many country music stars before him, he found his start writing songs. Jameson has co-written songs for other country stars like the #1 hit song “I Don’t Know About You” by Chris Lane, “Talk You Out Of It” by Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean‘s “Camouflage Hat” and the title track of Luke Bryan‘s latest album “Born Here Live Here Die Here.”
Jameson’s own debut single “Some Girls” is doing very well for him. It is top five and climbing on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart. The official music video has been viewed more than 7.8 million times (watch it at the bottom of the page). The song has been streamed more than 80 million times.
