Well, it seems that Entertainer of the Year ended in a tie at the ACM Awards on Wednesday night.
Keith Urban was tasked to read off the winners and unlike most times, he read two names. First, he called Thomas Rhett to the stage, and after a breath-taking moment, Urban read Carrie Underwood’s name as the winner.
Never in the history of the ACM has there been a tie, at least not in the biggest category of Entertainer of the Year, but it is 2020 right?
ACM policy does allow for ties and according to their the ACM Awards Criteria and Policy in the event of a tie, the policy reads that both parties will receive an award.
Do you think the ACMs should’ve named one winner or do you agree with both Thomas Rhett and Carrie Underwood winning?
