Gabby Barrett just got a once in a lifetime interview with Dolly Parton, and she was the one behind the questions.

In a virtual interview for Amazon Music, Gabby and Dolly dished on careers, how Dolly’s childhood inspired her songwriting, to the over 3,000 songs she’s written, plus why she chose not to let Elvis Presley cover “I Will Always Love You.”

Then the girls got to talking about releationships. Gabby and her husband Cade have been married for almost a year, and Dolly and her husband Carl Dean have been married for 54 years. Dolly had some great advice for Gabby and said the key to success is “sensible seperataion” and to not be in each other’s faces all the time.
