The country music duo of Madison Marlow and Taylor Dye have taken their latest single to #1. It took some time, but Maddie & Tae “Die From A Broken Heart” topped the Billboard chart.

The advanced release of the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart shows “Die From A Broken Heart” in the number one position for this week.

It took just over one year (54 weeks) from the time the single first appeared on the chart for it to make it to the top.

Taylor Dye had this to say about the song, “With it resonating with so many fans and seeing the impact it has on them, it’s moving. And I think that means something. And this song ‘Die’ is just a really good validation of how healing music really is, and how much the risk of putting your heart out for a song is worth it.”

This is the second career single from Maddie & Tae. Their first chart topper was their debut single “Girl In A Country Song” back in 2014.

“Die From A Broken Heart” can be found on Maddie & Tae’s sophomore album The Way It Feels available everywhere now. Listen for the song on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
