McLean Country Fair Cancelled Due to Coronavirus Pandemic

The 2020 McLean County Fair has been cancelled due to health concerns with COVID-19. The announcement was made today (6/18).

The following message was posted on the McLean County Fair’s Facebook page:

Today the McLean County Fair board of directors announced the cancellation of the 2020 fair to protect the health and safety of all involved. We know how disappointing this news will be to our attendees, youth exhibitors, participants and vendors. We share your disappointment. We look forward to seeing you Aug 4-8, 2021 when we can safely enjoy our favorite fair festivities, foods and traditions once again.

Plans are in the works to hold a junior livestock show exclusively for exhibitors and their immediate family with social distancing measures in place. Jr. Show registration is open now through July 10.

Questions about the 4-H Show can be directed to the University of Illinois Extension office.

We are also continuing to plan for the HogWild 5K scheduled for August 2 with social distancing measures in place. You can register for the race here: https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/Bloomington/HogWild
