Despite being pulled by HBO Max the classic film Gone With the Wind has found a new home at Amazon and the move has made the movie the best seller at the streaming service.

Seriously, fans of the film have flocked to Amazon to purchase the film on DVD, Blu-Ray, and even the 70th Anniversary Edition moving the film from number 8 to number 1.

As a result of the protests across the world, HBO Max decided to pull the film set in a much different time.

HBO Max still plans to bring the film back to the service despite the success it’s having on Amazon. In a statement the streaming service said thew movie will return when they can include a “explanation and a denouncement” of the “ethnic and racial prejudices” depicted in the movie.
