Mother’s Day is approaching and Thomas Rhett praises his wife as being the calming force at home with their three daughters.
When it comes to parenting Willa Gray (4-years-old), Ada James (2-years-old) and Lennon Love (2-months-old), Thomas Rhett says Lauren is the yin to his yang.
“She’s definitely calmer than I am,” Thomas Rhett confesses. “Like, I kind of get anxious a lot with our kids, like, ‘Is this okay that they’re doing this?’ And Lauren’s just like, ‘Honey, she is two. She is fine.'”
Thomas Rhett feels he knows why his parenting style is what it is.
“I think that’s just kind of like the perfectionist in me just wantin’ to make sure I’m doing everything right. But yeah she’s a very good, laid-back mother.”
Thomas Rhett is enjoying having two songs climbing the country music singles charts. His official current single “Beer Can’t Fix” featuring Jon Pardi is in the top five on the Billboard chart. His inspirational song “Be A Light” featuring Reba, Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum, Chris Tomlin and Keith Urban is at #19 on the same chart.
Listen for both songs on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country. B104.
What kind of parenting style do you have, perfectionist like Thomas Rhett or laid-back like Lauren?
