The Knockout Rounds began last night (4/13) on season 18 of The Voice. Which artists did Blake Shelton decided to move forward to the live shows with on Team Blake?
Legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor is serving as the Mega-Mentor during the Knockouts this season. Each coach and James help the artists prepare for their performance with the song they chose to sing.
Blake paired 14-year-old Levi Watkins with 22-year-old Joei Fulco. Levi chose to sing “I Ain’t Living Long Like This” by Waylon Jennings while Joei picked Linda Ronstadt’s “When Will I Be Loved” to perform.
It was a difficult decision for Blake. However, he chose to keep Joei on Team Blake for the live shows.
Next Blake paired Todd Tilghman (41-years-old) with Cam Spinks (29-years-old). Todd picked Travis Tritt’s song “Anymore” for his performance. Cam decided to perform “Rumor” by Lee Brice.
No disrespect meant, but Todd’s performance was much stronger than Cam’s. Blake made the choice to keep Todd on Team Blake for the live shows.
John Legend paired Zan Fiskum with Joanna Serenko. John stole Joanna from Nick Jonas during the Battle Rounds. John made the choice to keep Zan on his team leaving Joanna available to steal. Both Nick and Blake pressed their buttons to steal her.
Joanna decided to work with her third different coach by choosing to join Team Blake.
