The Illinois Manufactures Association (IMA) has announced the winner of the Makers Madness Contest to determine the “Coolest Thing Made In Illinois”.

Beer Nuts Bar Mix made it to the final round of voting where four products battled head-to-head for votes to be named the winner. Just making it to the last four among more than 260 products nominated is an excellent achievement for Beer Nuts.

According to the video at the bottom of the page featuring the IMA President and CEO Mark Denzler there were around 300,000 votes cast during the contest.

Congratulations to the Caterpillar 797F Large Mining Truck on winning the inaugural IMA Makers Madness Contest to be called the “Coolest Thing Made In Illinois”. Well done to all of those UAW members on making a great piece of equipment and mobilizing your members to vote!
