The new date has been announced for the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards Show.
The original air date of April 5th had to be postponed because of the current coronavirus crisis in the United States and around the world. To help slow and battle the spread of COVID-19 the Academy of Country Music (ACM) decided to postpone the annual show in Las Vegas to award country music’s best performers.
The ACM has announced that the show is rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16, airing live on CBS and CBS All Access. The venue and performers for the show have not been revealed, but will be soon according to the ACM.
Keith Urban remains as the first time host for the show.
