No touring, no traveling, no social contact … Miranda Lambert is most likely spending her time in what she calls her “Unicorn Kingdom.”

Since COVID-19 is restricting travel and forcing social distancing, you can bet Miranda is hold up with her horses and dogs.

“Now when I’m not on the road or writing, I just disappear … I call it the ‘U.K.’ I just say, ‘I’m busy, I’m in the U.K.’ ’cause it’s the unicorn kingdom,” she states. “I just go out to my farm and don’t wear makeup for three days and sit around the fire. And that always makes me happy.”

The award winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter says she really has always just wanted what she feels is a simple way of living.

“My whole life’s work was based on I wanted to be a country singer,” Miranda admits, “But, I also wanted to be a country singer because I wanted to have a barn with my unicorns in it and place for all my dogs to run. And I feel like truly I’m pretty simple when you break it down. It’s kind of all I ever wanted was pick a country tune and ride a pony.”

What would be your perfect place be to spend the time isolated during the coronavirus crisis?
