Chicago Among Latest To Cancel St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Chicago’s popular downtown St. Patrick’s Day celebration, including the parades and dyeing the river green, have been canceled this weekend due to concerns over coronavirus.

Parade officials made the announcement Wednesday, saying the parade is now canceled for Saturday, March 14.

The Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade is CANCELED for March 14, 2020.  Please check our website for future updates.

Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade was canceled by its organizing committee along Columbus Drive for Saturday.

The South Side Irish Parade, to be held Sunday, has been postponed to a TBD date.
