The Blind Auditions continued for season 18 of The Voice last night (3/9).
32-year-old Jon Mullins took the stage and sang Andy Grammer’s “Don’t Give Up on Me” as his wife watched from backstage. Blake Shelton pressed his button somewhat early in the performance. Blake waited to see who he would have to battle to bring Jon to his team.
Nobody else turned their chair so Blake claimed Jon for Team Blake.
California native Jacob Daniel Murphy took the stage next. The 27-year-old chose to sing Aretha Franklin’s “Until You Come Back to Me” as his Blind Audition. It didn’t look like anybody would turn for him. However, at almost the last second Blake hit his button.
Jacob Daniel became the newest member of Team Blake without Blake having to fight for him.
This season each team will have only ten artists each to start. Blake ends the week with eight members on Team Blake. Team Kelly and Team Nick also has eight members each. Team Legend has seven artists. You can see all of the artists on each team so far at the official website of The Voice here.
The Blind Auditions will conclude next week starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) Monday, March 16th on NBC TV.
