Justin Moore admits he sometimes gets distracted on stage while performing.
If you’ve ever seen Justin in concert, you know he puts on a great show. That is why his confession about getting distracted kind of surprised me. Justin says it’s kind of like a game many people play in public situations.
“You know when you go to a restaurant,” he says, “You play this game with your husband or wife or girlfriend boyfriend, whatever, sometimes you try to tell what this couple or this family’s story is at the table next to you. I do that in my head on stage.”
He says he knows this is not the best place or time to people watch and mentally speculate about their stories.
“You go, ‘Gee I wonder if they just got engaged?’ or, you know, whatever,” Justin admits, “I find myself doing that on stage, which is kind of a strange thing to do.”
Justin says when it happens he has to get his thoughts back to the task at hand.
“I have to like snap myself back and I’m like, ‘Okay, you’ve gotta focus on what you’re doing’,” he admits.
You will have the chance to watch Justin back and wonder if he is wondering about you right here in central Illinois. Justin and Tracy Lawrence are bringing their “Late Nights and Longnecks Tour” to the State Farm Center in Champaign, IL Saturday, March 28th. Get concert and ticket details here.
