The second night of Blind Auditions on season 18 of The Voice was last night (2/25). To say it was surprising for Blake Shelton would be a small understatement.
When 14-year-old Levi Watkins took the stage we could not see the Birmingham, Alabama native. Just like the coaches we could only hear Levi. The surprise came when Blake pressed his button and all was revealed to him and us, but not the other coaches.
Since Blake was able to play it cool and not tip his hand about the surprise after he turned, Levi became a member of Team Blake.
Toneisha Harris is finally chasing her dream again after choosing to focus on helping her son win the battle against cancer. The 44-year-old native of Salisbury, Maryland has been living in Roswell, Georgia and sang her own version of Foreigner’s “I Want to Know What Love Is.” The performance motivated all four chairs to turn.
This video was posted ahead of last night’s episode as a “sneak peek.”. It does not reveal what I feel like was Toneisha’s somewhat surprising choice to join Team Blake.
Blake ends the first week of Blind Auditions for season 18 with four artists on his team.
Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and rookie coach Nick Jonas each has three artists on their respective teams currently.
You can see all of the other teams at the official website of The Voice here.
The Blind Auditions will continue on The Voice Season 18 Monday, March 2nd at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) on NBC.
