Film crews arrived in my hometown of Pontiac, Il this weekend to film for the FX television series “Fargo,” starring Chris Rock.

The show is set in Kansas City, MO in the 1950s, and Pontiac is used for some of the backdrop of the film. As you can see from the video below, 50’s style automobiles and trailers were brought to town and set up in the old K-mart parking lot.

Not sure how this weather and the constant rain is going to affect production, so we will just have to wait and see.

The 4th season of the show stars Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman and Timothy Olyphant and is scheduled to premiere on FX April 19th.

Not a ton is known about production, but a little birdy told us that Chris Rock and Jason Schwartzman are staying in Bloomington during filming at a popular hotel with 2 words in the title…
