Carly Pearce is dropping her sophomore, self-titled album this Friday, February 14th.

The country music singer-songwriter shares what fans can expect from her latest studio project.

“It’s not a concept album. It’s not anything of that sort, but there’s a common thread of who I am and what has happened to me, and that vulnerability [is] taken to another level,” Carly states. “I mean, I feel like you see me on stage and you see me on social media, but you don’t really know what’s been going on with me. And I feel like when I hand this record to somebody or they get to hear it for the first time, here you go. It is raw and real and honestly, some of it is, I think, more raw and real than anything I’ve put out, ever.”

Why did Carly decide to make this project a self-titled album?

“Seeing how country music fans have opened their arms to me, I wanted to show that that has given me the confidence … more than ever … to be exactly who I am,” Carly confesses. “And I feel like this is a reflection and a body of work of that confident woman for the first time. And so I really just wanted it to stand alone with my name.”

Listen for Carly’s debut song from the new album, “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Lee Brice, on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104. The song is top 15 and climbing on the country singles charts.

Carly will be at the Castle Theatre here in Bloomington, IL April 23rd. It is the rescheduled date of the show that had to be postponed last fall. Previously purchased tickets are still good for the new date.

Tickets for the new date are also available at the Castle Theatre’s website.

Carly hits the road this year on the “We Are Old Dominion Tour”. For a full list of tour dates and latest album details, visit CarlyPearce.com.
