Don’t get on that plane just yet, researchers are about to tell us the best seat on a plane to avoid catching a cold, the flu, or worse…
With the Coronavirus on everyone’s mind, it’s a great time to talk about being sick and traveling.
Traveling to new places can be so exciting, but we don’t always enjoy the journey as much as we do the destination. People can be tired and cranky, and the worst…what if they are sick on top of it?
Spending a few hours inside a sealed metal tube with over 100 other people breathing the same air is definitely a way to catch the sickness, but scientists say there are ways you can avoid or lower your chances of getting sick, and that includes choosing the right seat on the plane.
According to researchers, your best bet for not getting sick is to book a window seat when flying because you are least likely to get out of your seat during the flight and come into contact with someone who is ill. Unless of course you are sitting NEXT to the sick person, or within two rows of someone who is, because THAT is the WORST seat on the plane.
Their advice? If you are sick, stay home! Yes that vacation is exciting, but not if you are going to get everyone else sick. Also, washing your hands is your best chance of lowering your risk of getting sick.
