Every year, the day after the Super Bowl, more and more of us decide not to go to work.
According to Workforce Institute, 11 million people have already asked for Monday off, while 4.7 million will likely call in sick, and 1.5 million say they just won’t show up.
That is 17 million people who will not be at work the day after the big game.
Guess that’s why the petition to move the Super Bowl to Saturday has so many signatures. Every boss and CEO has probably signed it by now haha.
