Dan + Shay have given pop star Justin Bieber something he has never had before … a number one song on the country charts.

Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) teamed with Justin and Jessie Jo Dillon, Jordan Reynolds and Jason Boyd to write the song “10,000 Hours.” Justin joined the duo to record the song. Dan + Shay used it as their latest single.

The advance Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts are out for this week and “10,000 Hours” sits in the #1 spot on both charts.

While Justin has had many chart topping hits of his own, this is his first time reaching the top of the singles charts for country radio airplay.

“10,000 Hours” marks the seventh career number one for Dan + Shay. It also gives them four consecutive #1 singles. The song is from a forthcoming album that to date has no title or release date.
